Château Latour 2009 - 1st Great Cru Class (Ex - Château November 2020)
Like every year at the beginning of the school year, Château Latour is putting on the market a few bottles from their cellars, so this year, I am very happy to offer you the Grand Vin de Château Latour 2009, a wine for laying down.
The bottles will be equipped with the Prooftag system as well as a back label specifying the year of preparation and release from the Château.
Château Latour is located in the heart of the Médoc wine region, about 50 km northwest of Bordeaux, where the legend of the Bordeaux vineyard was created. The heart of its terroir, l'Enclos, dominates the Gironde estuary where river and ocean have brought it over the centuries its geological complexity and favour every day the mild climate.
Since 1993 and under the impetus of the Pinault family, owners of the estate, important changes have been made over the years to continue the quest for excellence in the wines produced by Château Latour.
Dark, intense, beautiful and slightly evolved color. Intense nose, with ripe and sweet fruit. Deep, complex and noble nuances. Very distinguished. Minute in the attack, smooth in the development, very aromatic, with a fat and complex touch between the middle and the finish, the wine ends deep, particularly tasty and noble in all its sensations. It is superb. Wait a little longer.
