Château L’If 2022
The Saint-Emilion estate has continued its metamorphosis since its acquisition by Jacques Thienpont in 2009. With the help of his nephew Cyrille, Jacques has put his heart and soul into shaping this 8-hectare vineyard, which adjoins the Château Troplong-Mondot estate.
The vineyard renewal program continues with uprooting, replanting and massal selection. This meticulous work serves a single purpose: to reveal the different facets of these complex terroirs. Tailor-made vinification of the vineyard's 14 parcels accurately interprets the noblest aspects of the terroir. And that's what it's all about for the Thienponts.
