Alter Ego de Palmer 2022
Second Vin du Château Palmer.
Palmer's midnight-blue label is matched by the golden label of its Alter Ego, with the château majestically represented on both.
Alter Ego was launched with the 1998 vintage, the fruit of a reflection to produce another facet of Palmer for a wine that expresses itself without waiting, but that possesses the velvety tannin of its elder, its elegance and that little something inimitable that signs the Palmer taste. Like a great wine, Alter Ego is characterized by great consistency.
It's a highly polished wine that ranks among the very best Bordeaux seconds. Oriented towards fruit, suppleness and roundness, the cuvée generally uses a higher proportion of Merlot and the youngest vines. The vineyard has been certified biodynamic since 2018.
