Tertre Roteboeuf 2022

Built in 1730, Château Tertre-Roteboeuf represents the architecture of a winegrowing estate in the purest 18th-century style. Situated 35 km east of Bordeaux, the 5.7 hectares of vines are planted in clay-limestone soil typical of the southern slopes of Saint-Emilion.

It was on this same Saint-Laurent-des-Combes terroir that François Mitjavile, a winemaker with a passion for history and agronomy, revealed Tertre-Roteboeuf.

It is recognized by tasters for its quality, worthy of a 1er grand cru classé. It is not, however, as the Mitjavile family have never wished to present their wines.

Château Roc de Cambes is located in the Côtes de Bourg appellation, a sloping vineyard that stretches from the Gironde to three successive south-facing slopes.

The Domaine de Cambes terroir belongs to Château Roc de Cambes, and borders the Gironde estuary, which flows along the slopes.

Finally, Domaine de l'Aurage is located in the Côtes de Castillon, a beautiful, wild and undulating terroir, in the continuity of Saint Emilion.
