------------------
Less than a kilometer from the famous bell tower of Saint-Emilion, on the famous "pied de côte" facing south, Angélus is the work of a passion written for eight generations by the de Boüard de Laforest family.
Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal represents the eighth generation of her family and perpetuates the immense knowledge and traditions of this family.
Planted on the southern clay-limestone slope of Saint-Emilion, the vineyard dedicated to the great wine counts 27 hectares, in the process of organic conversion. It gives smooth wines with silky tannins, which play the card of the fruit in all its richness, and toasted. The wine is aged for 22 months, mainly in new barrels, the rest in 30 hl tuns.
Second wine " Le Carillon d'Angélus " is planted on 17 hectares essentially planted in merlot.
