Château de Ferrand 2021
Planted on the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Hippolyte at an altitude of about 100 meters, Ferrand is one of the highest vineyards of the Saint-Emilion appellation. As a result, it dominates a curve in the Dordogne valley that is favorably exposed to the winds.
Four types of soils coexist: brown calcareous sandy clay soils with rocks, brown calcareous sandy clay soils with rocks, brown calcareous soils on compact marl, brown sandy clay soils with sandy clay.
