Le Petit Cheval 2021 - 2nd Wine of Château Cheval Blanc

Born in 1988, Petit Cheval is the second wine of Château Cheval Blanc. An excellent introduction to its elder brother, Petit Cheval is the fruit of all the know-how of a mythical name, because the composition of this second wine includes the lots that were not selected for the first one but which still embody the spirit of the estate.

The terroir is the same, magnificent, with a mosaic of clays, sands and gravels for poor soils where Cabernet Franc and Merlot thrive, the proportions of which vary according to the year, oscillating around the balance.

Le Petit Cheval is an elegant, fine and sumptuously made Saint-Emilion Grand Cru that will allow you to approach the mysteries of this A-classified Grand Cru. It is to be drunk on the fruit as well as to be kept for many years.
