Château Quinault L'Enclos 2019 - Great Cru Class
This Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Emilion sits on a pretty gravelly soil of 19 hectares on the banks of the Dordogne River, in the heart of the city of Libourne. For ten years now, he has benefited from the same care as his big brother, Château Cheval Blanc.
The viticultural work, the vinification and the maturing meet the same requirements as his elder. The oenological philosophy and viticultural convictions are the same for a great wine that will be open and expressive in its young age, complex and racy when kept in the bottle.
A deep red color, with a clear and limpid color. A very greedy nose, with red and black fruits mixed, in a pastry universe (balsamic, vanilla, caramel, coffee...), a small hint of liquorice which brings a lot of freshness. The sensation that the wood and the wine blend well, with a nice gourmet toast, and a floral hint that arrives at the aeration with a note of rose, peony, all in a beautiful intensity when aired.
The attack is sweet, full, greedy, rich, with a beautiful grain of tannins allowing a soft and creamy mid-palate. A wine displaying roundness and seduction, a nicely coated finish, and an aromatic return of black fruits, which signs this warm vintage.
