Château Bélair Monange 2019 - 1st Great Cru Class B
Château Bélair-Monange, whose origins date back to Roman times, has always been at the top of the Great Wines of Saint-Emilion. In 2008, Établissements Jean- Pierre Moueix acquired this historic site located on the highest point of the Saint-Emilion limestone plateau.
Château Bélair-Monange is produced on the most privileged soils of Saint-Émilion. The limestone plots of the plateau contribute to the freshness and minerality; the blue clay of the hillsides brings intensity, length, and a unique elegance to the vintage.
Surface area of 23.5 hectares, comprising 90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Franc 25 years old.
Dark, intense and purple color. Medium aromatic nose, but fine, pure, ripe and subtle. Delicate in the entry of mouth and immediately tasty, very aromatic, with presence in the middle, the wine slides to the finish on a good tasty length, without any austerity.
