Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion 2022
Beneath the classic elegance of Pessac-Léognan, the grand vin des Carmes unfolds a unique score. The Cabernet Franc, in an unprecedented proportion, offers silky power, relayed by the intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon. On top of this structure, the Merlot develops round, fine fruit: the balance is perfect, guaranteeing a style as complex as it is delicious.
Les Carmes Haut-Brion, the pride of the estate, is a great wine that successfully combines strength and finesse, brilliance and depth.
The ten hectares of land are divided between gravel, clay and sand. On this unique geological palette, the affinities of the soil have guided the grape varieties, which are also singular. Cabernet Franc (42%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (18%) are planted on either side of the stream, with Merlot (41%) growing further out. A mosaic of vegetation that underpins the estate's atypical profile.
