Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 2018 - 2nd Cru Class

Voted best 2nd wine in the world in 2021 by the American magazine Wine Spectator.

Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary, north of Bordeaux, lies the Médoc. Classified Second Growth of the Médoc in 1855

A remarkable territory distinguished by poor and stingy soils made up of gravelly hillocks on clay. Resulting from the slow retreat of the waters during the Quaternary period, these light and draining soils offer the vine perfect conditions to reveal an exceptional terroir, under the protective wing of a very influential microclimate.

Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is aged for 18 months in oak barrels (50% new oak).
