Château Le Gay 2020
Pomerol has become a myth. This small appellation of the Bordeaux region, ignored in the rankings, unknown even half a century ago, has proved to have tremendous potential. Its grape variety is king,
TERROIR 2.5 hectares, located in the sector of Feytit, composed of 4 plots of land made up of Merlot, gives it its full expression and in Pomerol.
Tasting comment:
Beautiful black color, with purple reflections. Intense, fine and appetizing nose. Pure nuances of ripe fruits, of pine wood as in Pessac Léognan, with a touch of liquorice. Minute on the entry, melting in the middle, with a lot of taste and a subtle tannic framework, the wine finishes caressing and long on fine tannins. It is very good. For the third year in a row, this wine gets this level of rating in primeur. A great success for the vintage.
