Château Roc de Cambes 2019
The singular terroir of Roc de Cambes, owned by the Mitjavile family in Côtes de Bourg since 1987, is made up of clay-limestone soils on which 12 hectares of amphitheatrical vines flourish. Facing south, they run alongside the river and produce a fine wine of great complexity, designed for ageing.
This wine is defined by grapes at high maturity, classically matured, with notably the best products of the Radoux cooperage. The result? Wines that are recognizable among thousands, with intense and very woody noses in their youth, aging with charm.
If we start from the principle that a great wine is good young and old, then all the production of the domain ticks this box.
