Château La Violette 2020
On the heights of the famous Pomerol plateau with its basement of iron filth, "the saint of saints" according to the oenologist Michel Rolland, in Catusseau, the Château LA VIOLETTE takes its name from an original and exquisite violet perfume which has always seduced the finest palates...
This property, fine flower of Pomerol with a vineyard of 1.8 hectares, bought by the VIGNOBLES PÉRÉ-VERGÉ in 2006, already owner in the same appellation of the prestigious Château LE GAY and Château MONTVIEL.

Dark, intense and beautiful color. Very aromatic nose, fine, pure, fruity and noble. Meticulous in its texture from the entrance in mouth, delicate in the middle with a lot of flavors, doubled by an aerial touch, the wine caresses the palate, juicy, with a contained power that reveals itself very noble in the persistence. It's long and untreatable. I have never known it to be so subtle and nuanced in its Primeur presentation. Bravo ! 100% merlot.
