Château Beychevelle 2020 - 4th Cru Class
The land of Château Beychevelle extends over 250 hectares of which about 90 hectares are planted with vines. The rest is composed of meadows where Limousin cows graze, forests of pines, poplars, ash and walnut trees.
The vineyard is composed of the four noble Medoc grape varieties: 52 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 40 % Merlot, 5 % Cabernet Franc and 3 % Petit Verdot.
The proximity of the Gironde, which can be seen from the perron of the Château, plays a role of protector and climate regulator essential to the production of an exceptional wine. It is located on two deep Garonne gravel plateaus from the Güntz era on the edge of the Gironde, the preferred terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon.
