Château Trotanoy 2009
This illustrious vineyard, whose name in Old French meant "too anoi" or "too boring" (when working the land), is located on one of the best exposed parts of the famous Pomerol plateau and was acquired in 1953 by the Jean-Pierre Moueix Establishments, which has been operating it ever since.
The mix of soils - half gravelly soil resting on clay and half deep black clay - on a bed of iron dross gives the wine both power and depth as well as great complexity.
One of the very great vintages of the last 60 years, which will remain a reference for its power and natural concentration.

Dark color, of normal intensity and slightly evolved. Intense nose, very fruity and a little reserved. Delicate in the attack, delicious in the middle of the mouth, melting, with presence, the wine evolves dense, with brilliance in the taste, on a great finish at once powerful, noble and delicious. It is very good.
