Château Nairac - 2nd Cru Class Barsac
Château Nairac, Second Growth of Barsac in the 1855 classification, is the property of the Tari-Heeter family. Since 1993, Nicolas Tari-Heeter, assisted by his sister Héloïse, has been managing the estate and presiding over the vinification process.
The estate is located in the north of the appellation, above Barsac and less than 2 kilometers from the Garonne river and its autumn fogs, which are fundamental for the sweet wines with the humidity they bring to the vines. The 17 hectares of the vineyard are located on a soil of siliceous clay gravel covering a marly-limestone substratum.
The grape varieties are largely dominated by Semillon with Muscadelle and Sauvignon grapes alongside. The winemaking process involves wood only, with long maturations to express the terroirs and grape varieties.
Golden yellow color with green reflections. Intense nose, fine, fruity, ripe and complex. Nuances of candied pineapple, lime, mango, melon and spices. Very roasted. Woody background. Wonderful. Meticulous to the touch, ultra-melting to the development, particularly fragrant, smooth and airy, the wine glides on the palate and finishes complex, with nuances of fresh almonds, exotic fruits and an exceptional roasted character.

Un excellent vin dans un millésime de choix ; liqueur opulente, arômes de miel, de coing et de fruits exotiques, avec un excellent équilibre entre le sucré et la fraîcheur. Beaucoup de concentration et d'équilibre. 93+/95.
