Château Gazin 2019

The terroir of Château Gazin is composed of surface günzian gravel and comprises, in the subsoil, blue and green clays including iron oxides (iron dross). These clays (smectites) allow a regular and moderate supply of water to the vines, characteristic of great terroirs. The clay-gravel subsoil of the Pomerol plateau makes up the bulk of the terroir of Château GAZIN.

The average age of the vines is 35 years.

The vines are cultivated in traditional ways with full respect for the environment: ploughing, organic fertilizers, reasoned fight against vine pests " sexual confusion ", manual harvesting.
